Biography

Chen Hui, Associate Chief Physician in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Department of Laser Aesthetic Medicine at the Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and Ph.D. in Surgery (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery). He mainly focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of hemangiomas and vascular malformations, repair of melanocytic nevi, laser aesthetic medicine, and oculoplastic surgery, and has accumulated extensive clinical experience. He is one of the key members of the Lin Xiaoxi Medical Team in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital. He is proficient in the major treatment techniques of plastic and reconstructive surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of hemangiomas/vascular malformations, such as microsurgical flap techniques, skin expansion techniques, DSA (digital subtraction angiography) interventional treatment techniques, embolization and sclerotherapy techniques, laser treatment techniques, and aesthetic surgery techniques, and is able to complete large, complex, and comprehensive case treatments.
He has delivered academic presentations on multiple topics at important international and domestic conferences many times (International Congress on Vascular Anomalies, Annual Meeting of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital Plastic Surgery Science and Technology Week, etc.), and is one of the main lecturers for two national continuing education courses at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, namely hemangiomas and vascular malformations and laser aesthetic medicine.
